Mrs Blog very kindly offered to drive us home in my car from a hostelry earlier in the week. She drives a cute little manual car and is only slightly familiar with the automatic that I use.
She turned on the engine.
Moved the selector to N.
"Why isn't it moving?" she said.
"Because it's in neutral" I replied.
"Oh, I thought was for "Now""!
